DUST IS FLYING- OLD DOORS ARE DOWN-
TEMPORARY SUPPORT FRAMING IS INSTALLED
- INSIDE WOODEN PILLAR IS REMOVED-OLD
CONCRETE HAS BEEN SAWED AND REMOVED! 
TRENCHES FOR REBAR INSTALLATION HAVE
BEEN DUG. CONSTRUCTION WILL SLOW DOWN
THE NEXT 3-5 DAYS (Week of 3/30) DUE TO A
SUPPLY CHAIN HICCUP FOR SPECIALIZED
REBAR All this is in preparation to bring in the
steel superstructure that will bear the weight
supported by the yellow pillar. Then a call for 1
of 4 City Inspections before pouring the new
concrete & removing the big yellow pillar! YES,the
pillar will be removed

Center Activities

  • On Mondays we play bridge, scrabble and sometimes we Ma Jong.
  • On Tuesdays it's Pinochle only along with light lunch munchies.
  • And on Thursdays, Canasta Hand and Foot with a pot luck at noon!
Perhaps you have a talent or a skill you could teach or share with the membership. Or, just volunteer. Perhaps lead a game you like. We need someone to manage a cribbage day.  Let us know how you'd like to volunteer
We always have a jigsaw puzzle in progress or borrow one.
There is an abundance of books to borrow. Or, you can read here in the lounge while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.
